ClipStack Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 17, 2026

The short version

ClipStack collects nothing. Your clipboard history is stored only on your device, in Chrome's local extension storage. It is never uploaded, never synced to a server, and never sold — because ClipStack has no servers and no account.

What's stored, and where

How capturing works

ClipStack listens for the browser's own copy and cut events and reads only the text you actually copied, at the moment you copy it. It does not scrape or read the content of your open pages, and it does not poll or monitor the system clipboard in the background.

Your controls

Data collection

ClipStack operates no servers and includes no analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind. It makes no network requests as part of its normal operation.

Payments (Pro upgrade)

The optional Pro upgrade is processed by ExtensionPay and Stripe. ExtensionPay handles your email address and payment status; card details are handled by Stripe. ClipStack never sees or stores your payment information. See the ExtensionPay privacy policy and the Stripe privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
